Down-to-Earth Career Guidance to Help Job Seekers Succeed

The Elevate Your Career workshops bring together experts in talent placement and experts in different fields to answer real questions people have about making their job search and promotion path a success. Attendees can sign up (at no cost!) to listen, ask questions, and take away easy-to-use techniques and tips to improve their resumes, streamline their LinkedIn profiles, develop their elevator pitch, identify and apply for the right jobs, highlight the skills that make them a good fit for employers, successfully navigate job interviews, and more.

This year’s topics included success strategies for internationally skilled immigrants, empowering women of color, optimizing your job search during career transitions, leveling up on LinkedIn, harnessing personal strengths for career growth, strategies for future-proofing your career, and other valuable insights. Different career paths, such as marketing and tech project management, were also highlighted to give Tulsa’s talent pool clearer direction in choosing opportunities that show promise for the future.

The 2024 workshop series culminated in our Elevate and Celebrate Your Career Growth networking event, where attendees from any of the sessions came together, met each other in person, took professional headshots they can use online, and shared in cheering each other on in their career journeys.
